Since early June, Hanoi has administered the fourth Covid-19 vaccine shot. However, many districts have witnessed a low number of people registering for the vaccination compared to the first three Covid-19 vaccine jabs.
The Covid-19 vaccination in Hanoi
A man from Nam Tu Liem District said that he was informed of the fourth Covid-19 vaccine jab, but he decided not to bother, having recovered from a previous infection.
An office worker from Cau Giay District said that she faced many side effects from the first three Covid-19 vaccine shots, which was why she did not want another one.
A representative from Dong Da District’s Health Department admitted a considerable decline in the number of people who have registered for a fourth Covid-19 vaccine jab.
"The vaccine amount we will receive depends on the registration list sent by wards to avoid wastage,” he added.
The same situation has been reported in Ha Dong District.
