Hundreds of meals are being offered at low prices together with free clothes for poor people in Hanoi.
Every Wednesday lunch at 20 Thuy Khue Street in Hanoi, 120 meals priced at just VND 2,000 each and free clothes are offered to low-income people, especially women with difficult economic conditions.
The programme is co-organised by the Centre for Women and Development and Yen Vui Restaurant which aims at assisting poor people in the area.
While waiting for the meal, people can choose suitable clothes for them and their family, which are sent by donors to the programme.
