The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has just honouredSouth Korean former Vice-Minister of the Knowledge Economy Park Young June at a ceremony held on Thursday.

The Honorary Doctor Conferment, Honorary Rector Appointment Ceremony of UEH College of Technology and Design were awarded to Dr. Park Young June for his contributions to the university's development.
According to UEH, Dr. Park Young June has provided consultancy to the university in various fields including scientific research, training and co-operation activities.
"Dr. Park Young June did his PhD thesis about Vietnam at the Hanyang University,' UEH revealed. 'He has over 30 years of experience in public service and held various important positions in the South Korean cabinet. Thanks to his introduction, UEH has expanded co-operation with many individuals and organisations in South Korea, launched the Korea - Vietnam Advanced Management for Vietnamese enterprises.'
UEH has also received many South Korean experts including Dr. Chung Un-Chan - former South Korean Prime Minister and former rector of Seoul National University; Dr. Lee Ju-ho - Chairman of ASIA Education Association and former South Korean Minister of Education; Prof. Park Sang-Woo - Former Vice Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to come and share their experiences.
