Three people died after their motorbike collided with a passenger bus early Monday morning in Binh Dinh Province.

According to a report from local police, the tragic accident occurred at 1.25 am on May 2 when a motorbike carrying three people collided with a passenger bus on National Road 1A.
"Three men on the motorbike died on the spot," the report said. "They were identified as Pham Cong Nhut, 35, Doan Anh Tuan, 28, and Nguyen Xuan Hanh, 27. No one on the passenger bus was injured. Both the motorbike and the bus were heavily damaged.
Cameras at the site showed that the motorbike driver Pham Cong Nhut was speeding while going through the intersection and crashed into the bus. Nhut also tested positive for alcohol at 29.9 mg/dL.
Police are further investigating the cause of the accident.
