Nuoc Den Canal in Binh Tan District’s Binh Hung Hoa Ward, which was seriously polluted, has been revived following the upgrading project which has been conducted for two years.

The project, which started in April 2020, focused on dredging 1.4 kilometres of the canal. The project has set up a VND1.5-metre high barrier along the canal.

Quoc Thai from Binh Tan Ward said that previously fish often died on the canal due to the pollution. When it was rainy, it was easy to experience the bad smell from the canal. But the problems have been dealt with thanks to the upgrading project.
