Bui Vien Street in Pham Ngu Lao Ward has attracted thousands of visitors each day as the pandemic has basically been brought under control in HCM City.

Crowds flocked to the street for relaxation on Sunday evening.

The atmosphere is more exciting with music from local bars.

Bar staff flock to the street to invite customers.

Many vendors and lottery sellers have reappeared on Bui Vien. A vendor on the street said that she earns around VND100,000-200,000 per day.

Some people performed magic on the street.

The street is often more crowded from around 9 pm, sometimes causing traffic congestion.

Restaurant owner Nguyen Hoang Sang said that most of the visitors were Vietnamese, while the number of foreigners remained limited.

Many restaurants and bars hire artists to perform in order to attract more customers.

Like Ta Hien Street in Hanoi, before the Covid-19 pandemic, Bui Vien Street was a favourite place for tourists from different countries.
