The walking zones reopened from 7 pm on March 18 after being closed for nearly one year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
All routes around Hoan Kiem Lake have been fenced until late Sunday to give the floor to pedestrians. Security personnel reminded people of conforming Covid-19 prevention measures.
Automatic temperature screeners and handwash have been arranged on the walking streets.

Many people felt happy to return to Hoan Kiem pedestrian streets after a long closure.
Many sports and entertainment activities were held again in the streets.
