According to vice-chairman of the municipal people’s committee, Ngo Thi Kim Yen, Danang has finished preparations for fully reopening the tourism sector.

She has instructed local accommodation establishments to prepare and arrange separate rooms for visitors who test positive for Covid-19.

Around 40 hotels across the city have launched tourism promotional programmes by offering a reduction of 20 to 50 percent on room prices and services.

Local travel businesses have made further attention to developing new high-quality tourism products targeting high-paying visitors, through incentives in MICE, golf, and sports tourism.

Free admission has also been applied throughout 2022 to many popular tourist sites in Danang, including the Marble Mountains, Cham Museum, Da Nang Museum, and Truong Sa Exhibition House.

Danang has set the target of welcoming 3.5 million visitors in 2022, three times higher than 2021, including 180,000 foreigners. The sector also targets to earn VND6.7 trillion in tourism revenue.
