HCM City people flock to pagodas on Tet

Many people in HCM City visited pagodas and temples on the first day of the Lunar New Year to hope for a happy new year.

Due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, the number of visitors to the city’s pagodas this year decreased.

 

The Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva attracted many visitors. 

  

People were asked to conform to Covid-19 prevention measures.

 

Children were also taken to the pagodas.

Tran Hung Dao Temple in District 3, which has been upgraded, has attracted more visitors.
