Hanoi streets jammed as Tet nears

Lots of central Hanoi city streets have become congested as the Lunar New Year approaches. 

Over the past week, it is easy to see traffic jams on Truong Trinh Street. 

 

People flock to the streets to go shopping for Tet. Many leave Hanoi for their hometown.

Lang Street, which often sees congestion, is more crowded these days.
