A coffee shop is attracting lots of customers in HCM City thanks to its unique design that mimics a metro train carriage.
The coffee shop which lies in a small lane on Huynh Van Banh Street in Phu Nhuan District, replicates the style of a carriage of the Incheon metro line in South Korea.
All the furniture of the coffee shop was brought in from a real metro train carriage.
According to the shop manager, the design idea came after he saw the popularity of the Ha Dong-Cat Linh metro line among young people in Hanoi. "Besides quality coffee, we want our shop to be a nice check-in place," he said. "We’ve arranged specialist lighting for photo shooting."
The coffee shop has received lots of shares and good comments on various social networks.
A young woman, Pham Phuong Trinh came to the shop after hearing about it from a Facebook status. She said that the coffee shop's design was really impressive and was a nice place for selfies.
Another customer, Mia My, in District 7 said that besides good coffee, the shop also provided a special experience.
"The windows are carefully painted and decorated in a way which makes people think that they are travelling," she said. "While we don't have a metro service in HCM City, this place has become a nice place for us to get some experience."
