Hanoi authorities have approved planning of an 18.4-hectare park in the outlying district of Gia Lam’s Trau Quy Town.

Of the total area, 4.4 hectares will be used for road construction, nine hectares for lakes and the remaining area for green space and sports areas.
The park will include areas for educational and cultural activities, performance activities, sports activities and parking lots.
It will be located near Nguyen Mau Tai Street and the new headquarters of Gia Lam District People’s Committee.
Hanoi has planned to upgrade 45 existing parks and flower gardens, including Bach Thao, Thu Le and Thong Nhat parks.
Ten others, including Linh Dam, Bac Linh Dam, Nghia Do, Cau Giay, Den Lu and Hoa Binh will also be upgraded.
