Four people in a family have been killed after a fire burnt down their house early this morning, December 7.

Head of the Kien Giang Provincial Fire Department, Nguyen Thanh Nhanh confirmed that a fire occurred on Tuesday morning at a two-storey house which was also used as a clothes shop in Kien Luong Town at 1 am.
"The fire was detected by some local residents but they failed to break the locked doors to rescue the people inside," the official said. "We arrived quickly at the scene right after being informed but the violent fire had spread to five other adjacent houses. We found four bodies in the clothes shop who have been identified as a young couple and their two children aged two and nine."
According to some witness, they noticed the fire and heard loud explosions from the clothes shop but they could not break the locked door to save the people inside. They informed the police while trying to call people in some nearby houses to run away as the fire was spreading so fast.
It has been reported that the fire has burned down the clothes shop and all five adjacent houses. Police are further investigating the cause of the fire.
