Spas and massage parlours and fitness centres will also reopen the same day but restrictions will be placed on the number of customers allowed into each venue at any one time.
According to the announcement made by the municipal people’s committee on November 16, the resumption of these activities will depend on the Covid-19 situation in each location and will be limited in capacity.
In wards, communes and towns at low risk of Covid-19, establishments can resume operations at full capacity while those at medium risk areas are only allowed to serve at half capacity.
High-risk areas can only function at a 25 per cent capacity, but in these places, spas, karaoke parlours and nightclubs must remain closed.
All staff and customers must be already fully vaccinated or have recovered from the virus, or have negative Covid-19 test results taken within the past 72 hours.
Several cinemas including CGV, Lotte Cinema, BHD, Galaxy have announced on their Facebook fan pages to reopen from November 19 after over six months of closure since the latest Covid-19 outbreak.
