250-kilo bomb detonated in Thai Binh

A 250-kilo bomb which was found at a construction site in the northern province of Thai Binh has been detonated.

The bomb was discovered at the construction site of the Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park project in Thai Thuy District at the end of October.

 

The bomb weighs 250 kilos

According to the local military, the bomb has been left in the area since the American War. The authorities zoned the area for the warning before relocating the bomb.

The bomb was successfully detonated off the coast of Con Vanh in Tien Hai District.
