The central city of Danang is preparing to receive tourists from overseas from November this year.

Speaking at the meeting held Wednesday by the municipal people's council, director of Danang Tourism Department, Truong Thi Hong Hanh said that they had proposed two plans for developing tourism to the local people's committee.
The plan to receive domestic tourists will comprise three stages. In the first stage that would start from October 20, tourism services would only serve local people. The second stage from November would allow visitors from some localities that have also resumed tourism services. The third stage will begin when the government allows the resumption of all activities nationwide.
Danang authorities have also announced two stages in the plan for receiving visitors from overseas. In the first stage which begins in November, the city would be open for two groups of visitors; people entering the country on official duty, or visiting relatives and returning home. These people would be isolated for seven days and must follow other regulations of the Ministry of Health.
The second group includes international tourists having vaccine passports from some main markets such as South Korea and Russia. It is expected that the city will receive between 2,000 to 4,000 Russian visitors per month.
