Between October 13-15, northern localities, including Hanoi, and those from Thanh Hoa to Quang Tri provinces have been forecasted to have torrential rains with even more than 350 mm in some areas. Flash floods and landslides have been warned for mountainous areas and those located by rivers.

A cold snap is affecting the northern region and this weather will hit some central localities from tomorrow.
Typhoon Kompasu is expected to enter the Gulf of Tonkin between late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning before weakening.
Strong winds would occur along the coast from Quang Ninh to Quang Binh from Wednesday night to Thursday.
The Central Highlands and southern regions also saw rain today.
