According to the HCM City Command, over the past days, flows of people have left HCM City for their hometowns after the city eased social distancing orders on October 1.

Local authorities have offered support to migrant workers affected by the pandemic. They have also been encouraged to stay in the city to stabilise their life after the pandemic.
However, many have decided to return to their homes; so, the military in the city will assist them.
The HCM City Command will co-operate with concerned agencies and localities to help get people home safely.
People who want to return home can contact local authorities for registration. They will be given Covid-19 testing and medical check-ups before leaving HCM City.
