Of the sum, eight are in Hanoi’s districts of Hoan Kiem, Soc Son, Thanh Tri, Thanh Oai, Ha Dong and Quoc Oai; while the remainder are from the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Thai Binh, Hai Duong, Bac Giang, Nam Dinh and Binh Dinh.


The patients are medical staff of the hospital and patients and their relatives.

Earlier, three people from Ha Tinh, Nam Dinh and Hung Yen tested positive for Covid-19 after returning to their hometown from the Vietnam-Germany Friendship Hospital.

To date, a total of 20 Covid-19 patients linked to the hospital have been recorded. The first case which was recorded on September 30 is a man from Ha Tinh Province who took care of his relative at the Tumour Ward.

Since April 29 when the fourth Covid-19 started hitting Vietnam, Hanoi has recorded 3,999 Covid-19 patients, including 1,608 locally-infected cases.
