Japan to give 400,000 Covid-19 vaccines to Vietnam
Japanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Toshimitsu Motegi said on September 14 that Japan would give 1.3 million doses of vaccines to Vietnam, Thailand, Brunei and Taiwan. 500,000 doses would go to Taiwan, 300,000 doses to Thailand, 100,000 doses to Brunei and 400,000 to Vietnam. The vaccines have been transferred to the countries as soon as they are available.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh thanked Japan for the help and hoped that Japan would continue to give more support and cooperate in vaccine production and technology transfer with Vietnam.
