Hai Ba Trung District aims to fully open in October
According to the authorities in Hai Ba Trung District, the recovery process will occur in two phases. The first phase is from October 21 to 30 and the second phase will be from October 1.
In the first phase, businesses and factories can operate at 50% of their capacity. Restaurants only offer takeaway and close before 9 pm. However, karaoke bars, nightclubs, beauty salons, gyms and other entertainment services must wait for further directives. Bach Khoa, Nguyen Cong Tru and Quynh Mai markets remain closed and Hom, Duc Vien, and Dong Tam markets only sell necessities. The district will maintain 19 mobile grocery stores.
Firms and factories in locked down areas will stay closed and crowds of more than 10 people are banned in public places.
From October 1, if the whole district is a Covid-19-free zone, businesses and factories will work at full capacity. Restaurants, markets and convenience stores can also operate normally. However, large crowds are still banned outside offices, schools and hospitals.
From September 4 to 17, the district reported 39 cases including 22 community cases and 17 new cases in quarantine centres. 98% of the adults in the area have been given the first vaccine shot.
From September 16 to 21, the authorities will continue to tighten preventive measures. After September 21, people living in red zones will be tested once every two to three days, people living in yellow zones will be tested once every five to seven days.
It is hoped that 17 out of 18 wards in the district will be Covid-19-free zones by September 21.
