Vice-Chairman of Binh Duong People's Committee Mai Hung Dung signed the decision on September 9. Local authorities and state agencies were asked to continue speeding up screen tests to protect Covid-free zones and detect new cases. Equipment will be allocated so that households, firms, residential clusters can do rapid Covid-19 self-tests.

People who have not been vaccinated must still stay home. Old people, children and people with underlying conditions were asked to not go out unnecessarily.

Only people who have the first shot for at least 14 days can travel. Workers need an additional travel permit to go to the workplace. People from red zones cannot enter the green zones yet.

They will work with the Ministry of Health to carry out the programme to let Covid-19 patients with light or no symptoms isolate at home. Suitable medicine packages will be provided to such patients. 4,000 packages will be sent to Di An City Medical Station, 6,000 to Thuan An City, 5,000 to Tan Uyen Commune, and 5,000 to Bau Bang District.

Monitoring at checkpoints must be tightened. Local authorities must also review and revise the preventive measures at traditional markets, supermarkets and grocery stores.

Mobile clinics will be set up to better respond to emergencies in different areas in the province. Heads of wards and communes will be fully responsible if they let an outbreak occur.
