The southern central province of Binh Dinh has received thousands of local children and pregnant women from HCM City.
This morning, September 10, 20 buses transported 450 people to Quy Nhon City from HCM City, including 373 children, 41 pregnant women and 36 sick people.

The people were sent to quarantine sites or paid hotel services as regulated, except for pregnant women who were allowed for home-quarantine.
This is the first 20 among 60 buses the province has planned to send to HCM City for carrying people home from the city, starting from September 9.
On Thursday afternoon, a Bamboo Airways flight taking 193 people from HCM City landed at Binh Dinh’s Phu Cat Airport. The passengers were mainly pregnant women, sick people and those who faced difficulties.
Earlier, the provincial people’s committee and the Binh Dinh People Association in HCM City held eight flights to bring 1,514 people home from HCM City.
Meanwhile, on Thursday afternoon, 26 people from Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province’s Chau Duc District were also taken home from HCM City, consisting of 24 pregnant women and two children.
They are the first residents in Ba Ria-Vung Tau brought home from HCM City since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in the city. Ba Ria-Vung Tau has considered receiving more local people from HCM City in the coming time, prioritising pregnant women, children and the elderly.
