According to the ministry, those provinces and cities have been prioritised in the vaccine allocation. HCM City, Long An and Binh Duong provinces have had enough vaccines to give the first shots to all of the adult residents.

The ministry urged provincial and city authorities to speed up the programme and give vaccines to all adults, including pregnant women. If there is enough vaccines in stock, they can give the second shots to eligible residents. The local authorities have the responsibilities to guide the residents on how to fill in a medical declaration form and a consent form to participate in the vaccination.
People who cannot be vaccinated immediately will be monitored and scheduled to be vaccinated as soon as possible. Mobile vaccination clinics will be set up near lockdown areas.
Hanoi authorities are prioritising people with underlying conditions and the elderly living in outbreak areas or crowded residential areas.
