Dantri/DTiNews has launched the Stay Strong Vietnam Charity Programme to support Covid-19 victims and frontline workers.

After the fourth Covid-19 wave broke out, businesses in the southern region suffered and as the result, thousands of people became unemployed. While a large number of people left big cities and returned to their hometowns, many others were stuck and struggled to cope with the pandemic.

Frontline workers were also exhausted due to the huge amount of work and patients. Hospitals are still in need of more medical equipment.

The authorities have employed various measures to support the public such as speeding up the vaccination process and issuing relief packages.

Dantri/Dtinews Online Newspaper hopes to be a bridge to bring help from individuals and firms to people in need via the Stay Strong Vietnam Programme,
The programme opened for donations a few days ago and has helped give 2,000 gifts to HCM City residents.

Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Van Hoi said, "At this time, we also need collaboration from every individual, firm and organisation. Stay Strong Vietnam is a model programme during this time."
