The information was given by Minister of National Defence Phan Van Giang at an online meeting between the government and some southern localities on Covid-19 prevention and control activities.

The Ministry of Defence will work with concerned agencies and localities on the specific goods supply.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Son said that the ministry will mobilise forces to ensure security order for the southern region.
HCM City People’s Committee Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong has asked to set up 200 specialised groups to supervise people’s social distancing implementation and support the food supply logistics.
The southern city is expected to vaccinate around 70% of the population against Covid-19 by the end of this month.
The prime minister has asked the consideration to relocate people in some locked-down areas to reduce the Covid-19 infection risks.
