The ministry have asked all units to stop the excessive spraying of disinfectants and not to spray disinfectants on people. The disinfection should only be carried out when there is no one in the vicinity and on surfaces that cannot be cleaned. It is advised to regularly clean places and objects that are in constant use such as stairway handles and doorknobs.
On August 2, the ministry also issued an official document asking local authorities to stop spraying disinfectants in public places and on people.
