Binh Dinh residents brought home by air from HCM City

The southern central province of Binh Dinh has decided to take around 1,000 local people to return home from HCM City by air.

Chairman of the provincial people’s committee Nguyen Phi Long issued a decision on hiring five flights to bring the locals home from August 15.

Each flight will carry around 190 people currently in HCM City.

All people coming back from Covid-19-affected areas will be sent to quarantine sites for seven days and then undergo another seven-day home quarantine.

The province has co-operated with Binh Dinh People’s Association in HCM City for listing people who want to return home due to difficulties caused by Covid-19.

The provincial people’s committee has also asked local concerned agencies to assist in Covid-19 testing for the returnees.
