According to the municipal Steering Board for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, between 1 pm on Saturday and 1 pm on Sunday, Danang recorded an additional 26 locally-infected Covid-19 cases, including seven each related to Da Son abattoir and Tho Quang fishing port.
The sterilisation for Covid-19 prevention in Danang
To date, the city has confirmed 24 Covid-19 cases linked to Da Son slaughterhouse, meanwhile the figure is 19 for Tho Quang fishing port.
Covid-19-infected areas have been sterilised.
Tho Quang, the biggest fishing port in the central region of Vietnam, will be suspended for seven days, starting from 3 pm on Monday.
All people related to the slaughterhouse and fishing boat will be provided with Covid-19 testing on Monday under local authority instruction.
Since July 10, Danang has detected 404 Covid-19 patients.
