The dormitory is located in Hoa Hiep Nam Ward in Lien Chieu District. The place was previously used as a quarantine site for F1 (people who had close contact with Covid-19 patients).
One of the five buildings at the dormitory will be used for the field hospital.

Between July 10-21, Danang recorded 279 Covid-19 infection cases that are being treated at Danang Lung Hospital and Hoa Vang District Hospital.
In necessary cases, the hospital will be expanded to 1,500-1,700 sick-beds, using the remaining buildings of the dormitory.
