The cases consist of three in Dong Thap and one in Long An.
Vietnam witnesses more Covid-19 deaths
The fatalities in Dong Thap were aged between 48 and 74 in Sa Dec City. They all suffered from underlying health issues, including diabetes, hypertension and kidney failure. They failed to respond to intensive treatment at Sa Dec General Hospital and died on July 8.
The 123rd case was a 67-year-old woman in Long An Province’s Can Duoc District. She faced hepatitis B and heart failure. She tested positive for Covid-19 on June 29 and was taken to Long An General Hospital. She died at the hospital on July 9.
Since April 27, Vietnam has confirmed 88 Covid-19-related deaths.
