A total of 1,021,340 students registered for the exams nationwide. The number of students affected by Covid-19 including those of F0, F1, F2 status, or living in locked-down areas totalled 14,394. The number of students who didn't complete the procedures to enter the exams is 27,779.

Exam invigilators were selected randomly. They will also monitor potential objects that could be used for cheating.

After each test ended, the hard drive and memory card of the cameras are sealed and sent to the departments of education and training.

This year, the supervisors include the staff from the inspectorate of the departments of education and training, provincial people's committee and irregular supervisors from the Ministry of Education and Training.

In Hanoi, over 101,000 students have taken the exams. The students were asked to follow Covid-19 preventive measures, fill in the medical declaration forms, and prepare personal items like backup face masks.
