After Hanoi authorities eased social distancing rules on June 22, restaurants could resume on-site services again but they could only operate at 50% capacity and must close by 9 pm. However, many restaurants tried to open past the permitted hours. Bars still haven't been allowed to resume on-site services yet.
The inspection team in Hoan Kiem District had to issued warnings to many restaurants. When the inspection team arrived, the employees rushed to clean up and pack up the remaining food for customers who were still at the restaurants.
