The decision was made by chairman of the provincial people’s committee Nguyen Duc Trung at a meeting on Wednesday on Covid-19 prevention and control activities.

At the meeting, Duong Dinh Chinh, director of the local Department of Health, the province recorded four Covid-19 patients on April 13-16, with three in Vinh City and one in Dien Chau District.
Local authorities are tracing people who had close contact with Covid-19 cases and have blocked many areas. Some Covid-19 patients had met many people and visited different areas so the province is facing a high risk of the pandemic outbreak.
Social distancing in Vinh City and Dien Chau District is in line with the government’s Directive 15.
