Workers at PouYuen Company in HCM City
The woman tested positive for Covid-19 this morning, June 9. She works on the fifth floor of the company’s C3 block.
According to the initial information, the woman’s husband is a driver who tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday after having a close contact with a Covid-19 patient earlier.
On Wednesday morning, the entire fifth floor of the company was isolated. Around 141 people who came into close contact with her have been sent to a quarantine site.
Local authorities have planned to provide Covid-19 testing for around 3,000 workers at the company.
The woman who has shown no symptoms has been sent to Cu Chi Field Hospital for Covid-19 patients for treatment.
