Bac Ninh schools used as workers’ temporary accommodation

Authorities of the northern province of Bac Ninh have requested a list of local schools to use as temporary accommodation for workers amid the ongoing Covid-19 spread.

Under the instruction of the provincial people’s committee, all nursery and high schools in Bac Ninh will temporarily accommodate local workers who are living in residential areas. This move is intended to improve the management of local workers during the Covid-19 outbreak in the area.

Districts and towns in Bac Ninh are required to send a list of local schools to the provincial Department of Education and Training. Local private schools are also called on to support the policy.

Since May 5, Bac Ninh has recorded 740 Covid-19 cases, including 100 related to industrial parks. Among those, 23 patients are in serious condition.
