On Monday, a reporter of the newspaper granted the money of over VND198 million (USD8,608) to Leng Hoang Anh, an 11th grader from Dinh Hoa High School.

The support followed an article about Anh’s condition published in the newspaper. Many readers also gave him a laptop and a bike.
The student expressed his great thanks to reader assistance. He will try to study well to pass the entrance exam into the Hanoi Medical University next year, so that he will become a doctor in the future.
Anh’s mother died when he was just two years old and his father died when he was 16 years old. Since then, he has to work for construction sites and grow vegetables to sell to earn money after school time.
