People in Danang requested to stay at home as much as possible

People in the central city of Danang have been requested to stay at home as much as possible for Covid-19 prevention.

This is among the city’s tighter Covid-19 prevention and control measures signed by Danang People’s Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh on Thursday.

  

Local people are not allowed to gather in a group of more than five at public places

Under the request, local people are not allowed to gather in a group of more than five at public places, except for offices, schools and hospitals. Localities in the city are asked to co-operate with concerned agencies on Covid-19 prevention efforts.

Danang has also closed non-essential services and provided local people with cards to stagger their scheduled visits to markets.

Between April 29 and May 13, Danang recorded up to 102 locally-infected Covid-19 cases, standing third nationwide, just behind Hanoi and Bac Ninh.
