
Despite entry to parks in Hanoi being restricted since May 5, lots of local residents have continued to gather in large groups for exercise and other sport activities. In response, the city’s authorities have established checkpoints to ensure Covid-19 prevention and control regulations.


Authorities of Nguyen Du Ward have arranged staff to be on duty in areas around Thien Quang Lake and Thong Nhat Park to remind people to strictly conform to Covid-19 prevention regulations.

Hanoi has closed non-essential services, including karaoke parlours, bars, cafes, beer stalls and temporary markets. Local residents are advised to stay indoors as much as possible for Covid-19 prevention.
