The two are women in Tho Lao Village in Ly Nhan District’s Dao Ly Commune. They came into contact with Patient 2899, a man in Quan Nhan Commune who has infected several people so far.

By Monday morning, 14 people in Ha Nam tested positive for Covid-19. All of them came into contact with Patient 2899. Up to 600 people, including 150 children, have been defined to have had close contact with the 14 cases.

A field hospital for Covid-19 patients is being set up in Ha Nam due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The field hospital with between 300-500 beds is being set up at the Bach Mai Hospital in Phu Ly City.

Patient 2899 tested positive for Covid-19 after finishing a 14-day quarantine in Danang following his return from Japan.

Dao Ly Communes is being put under lockdown for Covid-19 prevention.
