
Quang Nam to pilot receiving foreign tourists
Quang Nam authorities asked the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and related agencies to review Chu Lai Airport and major tourist sites to have a detailed plan for charter flights to Quang Nam.
The results show that Quang Nam meets all requirements about infrastructure, medical care and services to reopening for foreign tourists.
In the first phase, Quang Nam will receive South Korean tourists to Hoiana Resort in Duy Xuyen and Tui Blue in Nui Thanh. The staying time is from five to 10 days. The tourists must have "vaccine passports, certificates that they were tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 and follow other preventive regulations.
All personnel who will serve tourists directly will be vaccinated. The regulations at Chu Lai Airport and two resorts will be closely monitored.
"After reviewing the first phase, we'll consider continuing with the second phase by receiving tourists from other countries and reopening different tourist sites or resorts," said Le Tri Thanh, chairman of Quang Nam People's Committee.
Also on the weekend, a festival to promote tourism and culinary culture was held in Hanoi with 200 booths. At the events, the participated firms offered over 1,000 products with 15-35% discounts.
Ha Mo Commune and the Phoenix Garden in Dan Phuong District were recognized as two new city-level tourism sites in Hanoi. Ba Vi District also held a tourist festival entitled Exploration and New Experiences.
