The three cases in Quang Ninh are all from Dong Trieu Town, including a four-year-old boy. They are being quarantined at Vietnam-Thuy Dien Uong Bi Hospital for the treatment.

The patients from Hai Duong are all those who had close contact with Covid-19 cases earlier. However, they had been quarantined, which does not pose community infection risks.

By 6 am on Thursday, Vietnam had a total 1,215 locally-infected cases, including 522 since January 27.

Currently, 114,796 are under quarantine, including 772 at hospitals, while the remainder is at their homes and other quarantine sites.
