Earlier, his grandmother had closed contact with a worker from Poyun Ltd. Co who then tested positive for the virus.
On February 2, all of 75 classmates of the boy and 10 teachers who had come into close contact with him were quarantined at the school. The students’ parents were also allowed to stay with them during the quarantine time.
Sterilisation has been conducted at the school.
The local people’s committee arranged food and other services.
By 6 am this morning, February 3, Hai Duong Province reported 261 Covid-19 cases with the majority detected from the outbreak of Poyun Ltd. Co in Chi Linh City.
Some days ago, a grade-3 boy at Xuan Phuong Primary School in Hanoi tested positive for Covid-19. As a result, all of his classmates and many teachers have also been quarantined.
