The lockdown has been imposed at Kim Dien Village in Chi Linh District’s Hung Dao Commune.

17 people quarantined for having closed contact with the woman in Kim Dien District


On January 17, a local woman left Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi for Japan to work. When transiting in Singapore, she had to undergo a Covid-19 test which then showed that she was infected with the virus.

According to Vu Duy Dang, chairman of Hung Dao Commune, local authorities identified 17 people who had come into close contact with the woman. The people have been sent to the district’s health centre for quarantine and are waiting for their Covid-19 test results.

The whole village has been sterilised.
