Hanoi streets jammed ahead New Year holiday

Many streets in Hanoi faced severe congestion on Friday, the last working day of 2020, as many people rushed to head back to their hometowns for the New Year holiday.

Vehicles moved at snails’ pace on many streets. 

Many vehicles even travelled in opposing directions to avoid the congestion.

Pavements were also used.
