He was among two Vietnamese people who accompanied six Chinese people found to have illegally-entered Vietnam on December 21.

The people, who were detected in a car near Hai Van Tunnel, failed to show their legal entry papers.
The driver admitted that he was paid VND36 million (USD1,565) to transport the Chinese.
The police then sent the six Chinese men and two Vietnamese people to a local quarantine site for Covid-19 prevention.
