The school has 375 students, including 84 whose families are up to 40-50 kilometres from the school.

Following storms by late September and October this year, many classrooms at the school have been damaged. Students had to sleep at the veranda, causing some of them to be ill.

Dantri/DTiNews readers donated VND400 million for the project.

At the ground-breaking ceremony, Journalist Nguyen Xuan Toan, Deputy-in-chief of Dantri/DTiNews, said that over the past 15 years, the newspapers have helped around 5,000 disadvantaged and poor people. The newspaper has also built 18 bridges and 40 classrooms nationwide.
