17 more volunteers are given Covid-19 vaccine shots on December 22.

According to the Military Medical University, the group will be given a dose of 25mcg per person.

On December 17, three people were given the first shot. After 72 hours their health was normal and they were transferred home for further monitoring.

If the health of 17 volunteers remains normal in the next 72 hours, the researchers will continue the trial. The next group of 20 volunteers will be given a dose of 50mcg and the last group includes 20 volunteers who will be given a dose of 75mcg.

The second shot will be carried out 28 days after the first shots.

The first stage of the trial aims to assess the vaccine's safety and assess the immunogenicity response of the different doses.

The second stage will be carried out on 400-600 people aged from 12 to 75 across the country. The last stage will be carried out on 10,000-30,000 people. If there is no outbreak in Vietnam during this time, the last stage may be carried out in countries with severe outbreaks like Indonesia and Bangladesh.
