The cold weather would start hitting the northern region from the evening of December 14 and the temperature would further fall in the next two days. Low temperatures with light rain have been predicted for the 10 days to come.

Temperatures would be at 13-16 degrees centigrade and even lower in many mountainous areas, causing frost.

Hanoi would be affected by the cold weather until December 20 with the lowest temperature forecasted on December 15.

On December 12-15, the Central Highlands region would have rain and strong wind. The south will also experience similar weather during these days.
