The leaf trimming is often carried out between 40-90 days before Tet, depending on different kinds of peach trees.
It is very important to choose the right time to do pruning as this accounts for 70% of the peach blossoming success.

People need skills for plucking peach tree leaves to ensure not to affect the blossoming. Around the 11th lunar month, growers will have to prune leaves and the top of peach trees once again so that more nutrition will be concentrated on the blossom development.
